Overview
- Private buyers can receive up to €11,000 based on ISEE thresholds of up to €30,000 or €9,000 for €30,001–€40,000.
- Eligibility requires scrapping a thermal vehicle up to Euro 5 and buying a new battery-electric car by June 30, 2026 within a €35,000 pre-VAT price cap (about €42,700 with VAT).
- Access is limited to residents or companies located in ISTAT-defined Functional Urban Areas, excluding those outside these zones.
- Microenterprises get 30% of the price for N1/N2 electric commercial vehicles up to €20,000, must scrap up to Euro 5, and the vehicle to be scrapped must be in the company’s name for at least six months.
- Discounts will be applied directly at the point of sale via the Sogei registration platform, with one vehicle allowed per private buyer and up to two for microenterprises.
