Overview
- Minister Andrea Abodi premiered the first film at H-FARM in Roncade before more than 500 students, joined by athletes and Mennea’s widow.
- The Ministry for Sport and Youth produced the campaign with Sport e Salute and the Presidency’s publishing department, two years after the constitutional provision was approved.
- Creative agency Shado crafted the video using a fragmentation technique, with Mennea’s voice recreated through AI to narrate the story.
- The film showcases Italian sports legends and teams, including Francesco Moser, Deborah Compagnoni, Federica Pellegrini, Bebe Vio, the 1982 and 2006 football champions, and the Paris 2024 volleyball squad.
- Officials say the campaign will roll out further films and distribute widely across TV, Rai networks, social media, and digital devices to promote sport as a right for all.
