Overview

  • The DPCM approved on August 8 empowers 33 public administrations to fill 9,300 permanent positions at a total cost of about €300 million.
  • Minister Zangrillo said the move will help clear administrative backlogs and meet organizational needs while capping recruitment costs at 75% of annual personnel turnover.
  • The decree clarifies that recruitment authorizations from years before 2025 count as exercised through competition notices.
  • Major allocations go to the Ministry of Defense (2,424 roles), INPS (1,305) and the Revenue Agency (1,272), spanning managers, magistrates, doctors and technical experts.
  • Recruitment procedures can only begin after the decree is registered by the Corte dei Conti and published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale.
