Italian Whippet Miuccia Wins Best in Show at Crufts 2025

The four-year-old whippet is the first Italian dog to win the prestigious title at the world’s largest dog show in Birmingham.

This marks the first time an Italian dog has claimed the top prize in the competition’s 134-year history, and the fourth win for the whippet breed.
Runner-up was Viking, a Tibetan Mastiff from Romania, who became the first of his breed to reach this stage of the competition.
The event saw a record-breaking 4,000 international competitors, highlighting its global appeal and significance.
A protester from animal rights group PETA briefly disrupted the show, criticizing dog breeding practices, but was swiftly removed by security.
