  • The strike runs from 21:00 on July 7 to 18:00 on July 8 and involves Trenitalia, Italo and Trenord employees as called by autonomous unions Cub Trasporti and USB.
  • Government regulations guarantee train operations during the 06:00–09:00 and 18:00–21:00 windows to maintain essential services.
  • Trenitalia cautions that schedules may be altered before and after the stoppage and allows passengers to request refunds or rebook under standard conditions.
  • Trenord will operate only trains departing by 21:00 and arriving by 22:00 on July 7 and those in the guaranteed list for the morning and evening slots on July 8.
  • Nonstop bus connections between Milan Cadorna, Stabio and Malpensa Airport will replace cancelled airport train services.
