Italian Food Fair Returns to Buenos Aires on Saturday With Free Entry

As the flagship of the 10th Italian Cuisine Week, the fair spotlights Italian gastronomy's ties to health, culture, innovation.

Overview

  • The third Feria Gastronómica Italiana runs Saturday, November 15, from 12:00 to 18:00 at Usina del Arte in La Boca, with access on a first-come basis until rooms fill.
  • Organized by the Embassy of Italy with support from the Buenos Aires city government, the event anchors the international Italian Cuisine Week program.
  • Programming features Scuola Pizzaioli pizza masterclasses, a live cooking show by chef Donato De Santis, a children’s iUpiiiii play space, a Metro Power Hits DJ, and free talks on the Carpano aperitivo.
  • Dozens of stalls will serve pastas, pizzas, focaccia, piadinas, cannoli, sfogliatelle, and gelato, alongside a market of regional products such as cheeses, wines, olive oils, and coffee, with discounts and promotional prices.
  • Each attendee receives a ticket for the on-site prize draw offering hotel stays, Teatro Coliseo entries, Italian language course scholarships, restaurant meals, pizza workshops, product baskets, an Italian coffee machine, and thousands of consumption vouchers for participating stands.
