Overview
- On July 30, the board signed off on Ita’s first long-term industrial strategy under Lufthansa’s 41% stake, covering 2026–2030 operations and growth targets.
- The fleet will be stabilized at around 100 aircraft by 2030 with a complete replacement of older models through next-generation jets.
- Starting in 2026, one new long-range aircraft will be added each year, resulting in five additional widebodies by the end of the plan period.
- Full integration into Star Alliance is scheduled for early 2026 alongside deeper codeshare and joint ventures with United Airlines, Air Canada, All Nippon Airways and other partners.
