• Martí Batres Guadarrama confirmed that site layout, land clearing and earthworks have begun in San Lorenzo Cacaotepec.
• Soil studies kicked off on June 18 and the state government expropriated the 108,000 m² site to speed up deployment.
• SHCP’s Unidad de Inversiones has granted construction authorization for the 3,500 million peso project.
• The complex will replace the Hospital Regional “Presidente Benito Juárez” and feature 250 beds, 43 consultorios and a helipad.
• Planners project high-end technology including a linear accelerator, angiógrafo, MRI, 10 operating rooms and specialized units to serve beneficiaries from Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz and Chiapas.
