ISSF Names India’s NRAI President Interim Chair of E-Sports and Technology Committee

The panel has begun drafting regulations for virtual-reality shooting formats.

Overview

  • Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo assumed the interim chair role after a formal letter from ISSF headquarters in Munich signed by President Luciano Rossi and Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo.
  • He will lead the newly established committee charged with exploring virtual and augmented reality shooting formats, e-shooting competitions and technological innovations in judging and training.
  • The panel has started drafting regulatory frameworks for e-shooting and e-gaming formats and will evaluate global best practices to recommend pilot projects and digital platforms for fan engagement.
  • Under Singh Deo’s leadership, the NRAI has sanctioned the inaugural Shooting League of India for November 20–December 2, 2025, which will showcase virtual-reality and augmented-reality enhancements.
  • Singh Deo said he plans to collaborate with global experts to integrate technology and accessibility and shape an inclusive, innovation-driven future for the shooting community.
