Overview
- Applications are open on vssc.gov.in from September 22 at 10 am to October 6 at 5 pm, with October 6 as the eligibility cut-off date.
- Eligibility includes BE/BTech with 65% or CGPA 6.84/10 or ME/MTech with 60% or CGPA 6.5/10, degree completion by October 6, maximum age 30 with statutory relaxations, Indian nationality, and AIU equivalence for foreign degrees.
- The written test comprises 60 discipline MCQs (75 minutes), 15 aptitude MCQs (30 minutes), and one descriptive question (30 minutes), with minimum qualifying marks required in each part.
- Interview shortlisting is in a 1:5 ratio per vacancy, and final merit is computed with 50% weightage each for the written test and interview.
- The application fee is ₹750 for all candidates, with a full refund for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/female candidates after the written test and ₹500 refunded to others minus bank charges; appointments are to Group A Level 10 at ₹56,100–₹1,77,500 plus allowances across disciplines such as applied mechanics, materials, thermal and fluid systems, controls and navigation, chemical, NDT/aerospace materials, and safety.
