Overview

• ISRO chief V. Narayanan said the December uncrewed mission will carry the half-humanoid Vyommitra to check crew-module systems.
• He reaffirmed plans for two additional uncrewed flights before attempting a human mission in the first quarter of 2027.
• ISRO announced the successful IADT-01, an end-to-end air-drop demonstration of the parachute deceleration system conducted with the Air Force, DRDO, Navy and Coast Guard.
• A government update stated that development and ground testing of the human-rated HLVM3 launcher have been completed along with key Gaganyaan infrastructure.
