Overview
- ISRO said IADT-01 validated the end-to-end parachute-based deceleration sequence designed to return the Gaganyaan crew module safely to sea.
- The joint exercise involved the Indian Air Force, DRDO, the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard, rehearsing drop and maritime recovery operations off Sriharikota in the Bay of Bengal.
