Israeli Soldier Survives Hamas Ambush; Yemen's Houthi Rebels Attack Norwegian Tanker

As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues, an Israeli soldier survives a deadly ambush, while Yemen's Houthi rebels attack a Norwegian tanker in protest of Israel's military campaign in Gaza.

• An Israeli Defense Forces soldier, First Lt. Eden Ram, was shot 12 times by Hamas terrorists during an ambush at Urim Southern District Base on Oct. 7, but survived by playing dead among her fallen comrades.
• Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for an attack on the Norwegian commercial tanker STRINDA in the Red Sea, stating it was in protest of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
• The Israeli Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israel, while soldiers located several combat posts and weapons caches used by Hamas in a residential area and near a school in the northern Gaza Strip.
