U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff is in Qatar mediating negotiations for a proposed 60-day ceasefire extension, which includes the release of 10 hostages, including Miran.
Hamas has accused Israel of stalling and demanded that mediators, including the U.S., ensure compliance with agreed terms for the next phase of the ceasefire.
