Overview
- Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Tuesday in New Delhi, saying Israel will not compromise on eradicating Hamas and voicing support for I2U2 and IMEC projects.
 - Sa’ar arrived Monday night for a short visit and is scheduled to depart Wednesday, with an additional meeting expected with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
 - He is slated to meet senior officials, ambassadors, research leaders and business figures, and to brief foreign policy and security scholars on Middle East developments.
 - The engagement follows last month’s implementation of President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan and seeks to advance India–Middle East–Europe connectivity and broader economic ties.
 - Recent groundwork includes a Bilateral Investment Agreement signed in September, and Israeli media have reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could visit India in the coming months.
