• Israeli security agencies said an airstrike on Saturday eliminated Muhammad Ahmed Yousef al-Jamal in the Gaza Strip.
• Shin Bet and the IDF attributed to al-Jamal the killing of police special forces officer Arnon Zmora during the June 8, 2024 hostage rescue.
• Officials also described al-Jamal as one of the guards who held the rescued hostages prior to their extraction.
• Israeli reports said Sari Idris Muhammad al-Aqrab was killed in the same strike and was linked to the October 7 raid and to al-Jamal.
