Overview

  • Israel’s military now enforces daily 10:00–20:00 tactical pauses in Deir al-Balah, al-Mawasi and Gaza City to enable aid distribution.
  • Secured corridors operating from 06:00 to 23:00 have allowed over 200 trucks carrying food and relief supplies to enter Gaza via the Rafah crossing.
  • The Israeli army parachuted seven loads of flour, sugar and canned goods under COGAT coordination, and the UK and France plan their own airdrops.
  • An IPC report co-sponsored by UN agencies notes more than 20,000 children treated for acute malnutrition since April and at least 16 child deaths from hunger since mid-July.
  • UNRWA and the World Food Programme say unobstructed land routes are crucial to meet Gaza’s estimated need of 500 to 600 aid truck deliveries each day.
