Overview

• Israeli officials said Shtivi’s remains were retrieved in a joint IDF–Shin Bet mission that also recovered the body of Ilan Weiss.
• The IDF described a coordinated operation involving the Southern Command, Military Intelligence, the Intelligence Directorate, the ISA and special units in central Gaza.
• The National Center for Forensic Medicine, working with Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, completed identification and notified Shtivi’s family.
