Israel Eliminates Hamas Commander Linked to Deadly October 7 Kibbutz Attack

- Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a senior Hamas commander, was killed in a drone strike coordinated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA).
- Sabah was responsible for leading the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz, which resulted in the deaths of 38 residents and the abduction of 75 others.
- The strike was conducted in a designated humanitarian zone in Khan Yunis, with Israeli officials stating efforts were made to minimize civilian casualties.
- Sabah had also been involved in numerous attacks against IDF soldiers throughout the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
- In the same operation, the IDF confirmed the death of Anas Muhammad Masri, a key figure in Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s rocket unit responsible for attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers.
