  • The Israel Defense Forces have released footage of IDF's Shaldag unit in active combat with Hamas terrorists in the southern community of Be'eri. The footage also shows IDF soldiers rescuing civilians in the midst of the conflict.
  • The fighting in Be'eri resulted in the death of more than 100 Israelis. The footage shows Shaldag soldiers surrounding a car carrying Hamas terrorists, neutralizing them and keeping local residents safe.
  • The IDF has started a campaign seeking information on hostages held by Hamas. Leaflets promising safety, financial rewards, and complete anonymity were dropped in the Gaza Strip urging residents to provide any useful information on the hostages.
  • The IDF has carried out extensive overnight airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. The targets included Hamas tunnels, command centers, weapons storage sites, as well as mortar and anti-tank missile launch locations.
  • The strikes also focused on Hamas's 'emergency operational apparatus', which the IDF alleges sets up blockades to prevent Palestinians from evacuating from the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The IDF has been advising Gazans to evacuate the area.
