Israel Confirms Killing of Senior Hamas Leaders in Gaza Strike

The Israeli Defense Forces announced the deaths of Rawhi Mushtaha and two other Hamas figures in an airstrike conducted three months ago.

Rawhi Mushtaha, head of the Hamas government in Gaza and a close associate of Yahya Sinwar, was killed in the strike.
Sameh al-Siraj and Sami Oudeh, both senior Hamas security officials, were also eliminated in the operation.
The strike targeted an underground compound in northern Gaza, which served as a command and control center for Hamas.
The IDF claims the deaths were kept secret by Hamas to maintain morale among its operatives.
This strike is part of Israel's ongoing campaign against Hamas following the group's attack on Israel last October.
