- Israel has also been accused of targeting and killing journalists, with over 119 Palestinian reporters killed since the start of the Gaza siege.
- The International Federation of Journalists reports that Israel has killed more than one media worker a day since October 7, accounting for 72 percent of all media deaths worldwide.
- The ongoing conflict has resulted in the death of more than 24,000 Palestinians, including more than 10,000 children, and has left 85 percent of Gaza's population internally displaced.
