Islamic State group announces death of leader in Syria, names successor

ISIS leader Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurayshi was killed in clashes with rival militants in northwestern Syria.
Abu Hafs al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi appointed as new leader of ISIS.
Al-Qurayshi is fourth ISIS leader killed since group's founding in 2014.
ISIS has declined after military efforts against it but still carries out global attacks.
Death of al-Qurayshi comes after previous ISIS chiefs killed in Syria.
