Overview
- An Islamabad anti-terrorism court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Omar Ayub, Zartaj Gul and Sheikh Waqas Akram in the Sangjani rally case after noting they had not appeared once.
- Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra ordered police to arrest the three and produce them by Oct. 20, rejecting Ayub’s plea for exemption and adjourning proceedings to that date.
