• Alexander Isak has refused to play and, after talks with Newcastle directors and a PIF delegation, has restated his wish to leave for Liverpool.
• Liverpool’s £110m bid was rejected and multiple outlets report an improved proposal could reach about £130m–£140m, still short of Newcastle’s £150m valuation.
