- Sueño Perro is open at Lago/Algo in Chapultepec from October 5, 2025 through January 4, 2026.
- Between 40 and 50 minutes of previously unreleased takes are projected on 35 mm with an urban soundscape by Martín Hernández, Ken Yasumoto and Nicolas Becker.
- The installation draws from nearly one million feet of unused negative preserved by UNAM, using historical projectors sourced from national film institutions.
- At Palacio de Bellas Artes, Alejandro González Iñárritu and Guillermo Arriaga publicly reconciled after two decades and presented the restored film.
- The restoration returns to Mexican cinemas on October 9 and streams on MUBI from October 24, while the installation continues an international circuit from Milan to upcoming stops at LACMA and later Paris.
