Mack Hansen has signed a new two-year contract with the Irish Rugby Football Union, extending his commitment to Connacht until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Joe McCarthy has agreed to a new three-year deal with Leinster and Ireland, keeping him in the national setup through the 2027-28 campaign.
Hansen, originally from Australia, has made 27 international appearances for Ireland since 2022, scoring 12 tries, and was a nominee for World Rugby’s breakthrough player of the year in his debut season.
McCarthy, who debuted for Ireland in 2022, has quickly become a key player with 17 caps and was the youngest member of Ireland's 2023 Rugby World Cup squad.
