Iris Apfel's Iconic Collection to Be Auctioned at Christie's

Over 200 items showcasing the late style icon's vibrant fashion and design legacy will be available for online bidding later this month.

The auction, titled 'Unapologetically Iris,' features clothing, accessories, and home decor from Apfel's personal collection, with over 200 lots spanning decades of her eclectic style.
Highlights include 18 pairs of her signature oversized glasses, a Dior Haute Couture feather coat, and a carved ostrich-shaped bar nicknamed 'Gussy.'
The collection reflects Apfel's 'more is more' philosophy, with bold colors, intricate textures, and playful designs across fashion and interior pieces.
Proceeds from the auction, expected to exceed $250,000, will go toward a charitable trust, with bidding starting on January 28 and running through February 13.
Select items will be displayed at Christie's locations in Miami, Palm Beach, and New York ahead of the auction, offering fans a chance to view the collection in person.
