Overview

• India’s participation at ITE Vietnam (Sept 4–6, SECC Ho Chi Minh City) was organised by IRCTC under a mandate aligned with the MEA.
• The ASEAN–India Pavilion was opened by Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.
• IRCTC led a multi-stakeholder delegation that included tourism GSAs, state tourism board officials and ASEAN representatives, while managing all logistics.
• An ASEAN–India Tourism Road Show in Ho Chi Minh City showcased Indo‑ASEAN offerings to travel trade bodies, tour operators and industry stakeholders.
• Showcasing spanned culture, wellness, nature and adventure, with premium IRCTC trains—the Maharajas’ Express, the Golden Chariot and the Buddhist Circuit—featured, following preparatory outreach at PATA Bangkok and a Aug 28 Thailand roadshow inaugurated by Ambassador Nagesh Singh.
