IRCON Order Book Exceeds ₹2,100 Crore Following Major Rail, Metro and Safety Contracts

  • IRCON secured three new rail and metro contracts worth ₹1,869 crore between July 14–18, raising its order book above ₹2,100 crore.
  • The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority awarded IRCON two metro packages—₹471.29 crore for Line-5 and ₹642.44 crore for Line-6—to handle power systems, traction, cabling and station equipment.
  • Rail Vikas Nigam Limited granted a ₹755.78 crore Letter of Acceptance for civil and electrical works on the Pipaliya Nankar–Budni broad-gauge line in Madhya Pradesh under a 70:30 JV with JPWIPL.
  • South Western Railway commissioned IRCON to deploy its ₹253.6 crore KAVACH train collision avoidance system over 778 route km in Bengaluru and Mysuru divisions.
  • Investor confidence climbed as IRCON shares rose 4.3% in early trading on July 21 following the announcement of the new orders.
