Overview
- Iran has launched more than 370 ballistic missiles at Israel since June 13 and retains thousands more capable of reaching the country in roughly 12 minutes.
- Israel’s multi-layered defense network combining Iron Dome, David’s Sling and Arrow interceptors with US-deployed THAAD and SM-3 batteries has intercepted an estimated 85% to 90% of incoming rounds.
- Despite effective defenses, roughly 10% to 15% of Iranian missiles have penetrated and struck urban centers, including Tel Aviv, Haifa and Rishon LeZion.
- Israeli air strikes and F-35 missions have destroyed about one-third of Iran’s surface-to-surface missile launch sites and struck key nuclear and command facilities.
- The conflict has killed at least 24 Israelis, wounded over 500 civilians and damaged critical infrastructure, raising concerns about wider regional escalation and humanitarian fallout.
