Iranian Mechanic Dies in Tragic Boeing 737 Engine Accident

Abolfazl Amiri was performing routine maintenance at Chabahar Konarak Airport when he was pulled into a running engine.

The incident occurred on July 3 during a maintenance check on a Varesh Airlines Boeing 737-500.
Amiri returned to the engine to retrieve a forgotten tool and was sucked into the turbine.
The engine caught fire, but emergency responders quickly extinguished it and recovered Amiri's remains.
Iran's aviation authority has launched an investigation into the accident to review safety protocols.
Similar fatal incidents have occurred recently, including one at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport in May.
