• BCCI will dedicate the June 3 closing ceremony at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to honour the Indian Armed Forces for their efforts in Operation Sindoor.
• Invitations have been extended to Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan and the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Staff to attend the ceremony.
• The tribute will feature military band performances and musical segments celebrating troops’ bravery.
• IPL 2025 resumed on May 17 following a weeklong suspension triggered by the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and a subsequent India-Pakistan ceasefire.
• The playoffs began on May 29, setting the stage for the June 3 final that will precede the armed forces homage.
