iPhone Survives 16,000-Foot Drop from Alaska Airlines Plane

  • The iPhone was found by Sean Bates, a Portland resident, who noticed the device was still in Airplane mode and had an Alaskan Airlines email open.
  • The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed this was the second phone found from the flight.
