Brittany Skoland, a mother from Fort Dodge, Iowa, was brutally attacked by three pit bulls on November 24, resulting in the loss of both her legs and parts of her hands.
Skoland also suffered severe head trauma in the attack, necessitating facial reconstruction surgery.
Police officers responding to the incident were forced to fatally shoot the dogs after they refused to stop attacking Skoland.
