Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds reportedly used a secondary X account, under the handle @Kimberl26890376, to criticize former President Donald Trump and promote Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The account, which was confirmed to belong to Reynolds, was suspended on Friday for violating X's rules.
Reynolds, one of only two governors to endorse DeSantis, has been using the account since 2021, with most of her posts coming in recent months and focusing on the presidential primary.
Reynolds has not responded to requests for comment about the account.
Reynolds' endorsement of DeSantis broke with tradition as Iowa governors typically remain neutral in presidential races until after the caucuses.
