- Apple released iOS and iPadOS 26 on Sept. 15 with the major “Liquid Glass” redesign, Live Translation, new call and message filters, Apple Music Automix and an Adaptive Performance mode that is enabled by default on iPhone 17 models.
- Some users are being shown iOS/iPadOS 18.7 more prominently in Settings; iOS 26 can be installed by selecting it under “Also available” or via direct downloads.
