iOS 26 Brings Email-Based Order Tracking to Apple Wallet
The upgrade uses on-device Apple Intelligence to parse confirmation and carrier emails, removing reliance on merchant support.
Overview
- With iOS 26 now public, Wallet’s Orders page automatically populates from purchase and shipping emails on supported iPhones.
- Access requires Apple Intelligence-capable devices — iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, iPhone 17, or iPhone Air.
- Users must opt in by enabling Mail (Beta) and Wallet Order Tracking in Settings under Apps, then Wallet.
- Orders are organized in Wallet with merchant details, status, tracking links, and options to mark complete, mute notifications, or delete.
- Apple first added order tracking in iOS 16, but limited merchant adoption kept it sparse until this email-driven approach.
