iOS 26 Beta 7 Adds Adaptive Power Notifications Toggle
The update advances a lighter battery-saving option that automatically eases performance when usage runs higher than usual.
Overview
- A new control in Settings > Battery > Power Mode lets users enable or disable alerts when Adaptive Power adjusts performance.
- Apple says Adaptive Power can extend runtime by lowering display brightness, allowing some tasks to take longer, and turning on Low Power Mode at 20%.
- During the beta, the feature is limited to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 lineup, even though iOS 26 supports iPhone 11 and newer.
- Developer beta 7 also delivers redesigned Blood Oxygen tracking for Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Watch Ultra 2.
- Apple released public beta 4 alongside the developer build and addressed a bug that produced darker screenshots.
