iOS 19 to Drop Support for iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max

Apple's upcoming software update will feature a major design overhaul and advanced features exclusive to newer devices, leaving older models on iOS 18 with security updates.

iOS 19 will not support the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, which all use the A12 Bionic chip, according to recent leaks.
The update will introduce a significant design revamp inspired by visionOS, including translucent buttons, updated menus, and system-wide aesthetic changes.
Advanced features in iOS 19, such as Apple Intelligence, will be limited to newer iPhones with faster processors like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models.
Devices no longer compatible with iOS 19, such as the iPhone XR and iPhone XS, will remain on iOS 18 but continue receiving security updates.
Apple is expected to officially unveil iOS 19 at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2025, with a public release anticipated in September.
