iOS 18.2 to Introduce Battery Charging Time Estimates for iPhones

The upcoming update will feature a 'BatteryIntelligence' framework to calculate how long it takes to charge your iPhone, though its release date remains uncertain.

The 'BatteryIntelligence' feature, found in iOS 18.2 beta code, will estimate charging times for iPhones, similar to existing Android functionalities.
Users will be able to receive notifications estimating the time needed to reach specific charge levels, enhancing convenience and battery management.
The feature is still in development and not yet active in the current beta, with its public release possibly scheduled for iOS 18.2 or later updates.
Alongside this, iOS 18 already includes battery health features like setting maximum charge limits to preserve battery lifespan.
iOS 18.2 is expected to roll out in December 2024, bringing additional enhancements like Genmoji and ChatGPT integration.
