Overview
- IO Interactive released the free Extended Operations DLC on Oct. 1, 2026, as a day-one update for all players.
- Valhalla Protocol is a new time-trial that puts the Aston Martin Valhalla behind the wheel with machine-gun turrets and online leaderboards for best times.
- Jungle Heist is a new mission set in a Vietnamese resort where Bond must find a safe code, crack it, and fight to a rooftop escape.
- The update also adds Photo Mode with custom lighting and poses, two new weapons (Squire Marksman rifle and Storm 12-gauge), three outfits in the Intel shop, New Game Plus and a harder '00' difficulty, plus small quality-of-life touches such as petting a dog.
- First Light has sold roughly 4 million copies and received strong player ratings, and IO Interactive’s free-update approach extends the game’s lifespan even as Amazon’s 2025 acquisition of the Bond franchise leaves future publishing and sequel stewardship unresolved.
