Overview

• Anthony Iacomino, 46, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of his brother, 52-year-old Joseph Iacomino, at a home in Inwood.
• Officers arrived at the Wahl Avenue residence around 5:06 p.m. Monday and found the victim unresponsive with visible blunt force trauma, and a Nassau medic pronounced him dead at the scene.
• The Nassau Police Homicide Squad determined a violent domestic incident occurred between the brothers and arrested Anthony Iacomino at the residence.
• He pleaded not guilty at a Tuesday arraignment before Judge Madeleine Petrara-Perrin and was remanded to Nassau County jail, with a return to court set for Thursday.
• Court records show he also faces an Aug. 22 misdemeanor charge for criminal obstruction of breathing, with a not-guilty plea, release on recognizance, a temporary protection order, and an Oct. 31 court date.
