Overview

  • Rescue teams from local police, the State Disaster Response Force and volunteers have retrieved victims and transferred the injured to hospitals in Doda and Pithoragarh districts.
  • The Prime Minister’s Office announced Rs. 2 lakh ex-gratia for each person killed and Rs. 50,000 for injured in the Pithoragarh crash, and Jammu and Kashmir officials have pledged support to families of the Doda victims.
