  • On June 29, the Disney Dream was returning to Fort Lauderdale from a four-night Bahamas voyage when a girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck.
  • The ship’s intercom broadcast the “Mr. M.O.B.” man-overboard code and life rings and a rescue boat were launched promptly.
  • The child’s father dove into the sea after her and both were pulled aboard by crew responding to real-time detection alerts.
  • Both passengers remain in stable condition and their identities have not been disclosed.
