• A man in his 30s climbed over a perimeter wall near Town Gate into restricted Windsor Castle grounds just after 1pm on June 1.
• Officers from the Met Police Royal and Specialist Protection Command swiftly detained him before he could reach the castle’s inner courts.
• He was arrested on suspicion of trespass on a protected site and possession of Class A drugs and handed over to Thames Valley Police.
