Interpol Launches Cold Case Search for Unidentified Murder Victims Across Europe

Interpol, along with Belgian, German, and Dutch police, has launched an appeal for information about the unsolved murders of 22 women.
The women were found in Belgium, The Netherlands, or Germany, but their bodies might have been transported there to confuse investigations.
The operation, called "Operation Identify Me," focuses on female victims as women are disproportionately affected by gender-based violence.
Establishing the victim's identity has led to the arrest of a suspect in similar investigations.
Interpol's global network will reach a wider public and might lead to someone recognizing their loved one, friend, or colleague.
