International Police Operation Targets ATM Bombing Ring

Authorities across Germany, France, and the Netherlands have arrested three suspects linked to a series of ATM explosions causing millions in damages.

Led by the Landeskriminalamt Rheinland-Pfalz, the operation involved coordinated raids in multiple countries, resulting in significant evidence collection.
Three men, aged 24 to 30, were arrested in the Netherlands following the search of eight properties in cities including Amsterdam and Haarlem.
The suspects are allegedly responsible for two series of ATM bombings in early 2023 across several German states, including Rheinland-Pfalz and Bayern.
Investigators believe the criminal network primarily consists of Dutch nationals operating in varying groups, using increasingly dangerous explosives.
Despite a decrease in ATM bombings in Rheinland-Pfalz compared to last year, the incidents continue to pose a significant threat to public safety.
