- Jerry Banks pleaded guilty to abducting and killing Gregory Davis, who had threatened to report a fraudulent oil deal with Gumrukcu to the FBI.
- Aren Lee Ethridge pleaded guilty in July and is awaiting sentencing.
- Davis' body was found by the side of a snowy Vermont back road.
