- BSE confirmed that InterGlobe Aviation will replace Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles in the 30-share Sensex effective December 22, 2025.
- The constituent change follows Tata Motors’ separation of its passenger and commercial vehicle businesses, which triggered a reassessment under index methodology.
- Max Healthcare Institute will enter the Sensex 50 in place of IndusInd Bank on December 22.
- IDFC First Bank will join the BSE 100 replacing Adani Green Energy, and both IndusInd Bank and IDFC First Bank will be added to the Sensex Next 50 as Max Healthcare and Adani Green Energy exit.
- Index-tracking ETFs and mutual funds are expected to rebalance in the days before the changes take effect, with BSE Bankex adding Canara Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Punjab National Bank and Union Bank of India from December 26.
